Description:
The default page size should reflect the national preferences, if possible. In the United States, the default page size is "Letter". In many other countries, "A4" is more suitable.

Also, the US uses inches, not millimeters as the default measurement.

How to repeat:
After starting, select File / Page Setup...
The dialog has a page size of A4 with margin measurements in millimeters.
Change the size to "Letter". The margin measurements are still in millimeters.
Change the paper size and restart the program. The size is back to A4.

Suggested fix:
Use OS information to determine the nationality.

If it is not possible or feasible to determine the national preferences, consider saving the page size selection as a user preference. Also consider selecting a national preference in the Options.

page-settings are saved on a document-level at the moment, so if you setup these parameters for a document it's saved with the doc.
we consider adding some deftault setting.
