Description:
When importing a set of tables from a sql file (file menu->import->reverse engineer MySQL create Script) and when is added a EER Diagram it's blank (without tables and it's ok) but the work area is in grey color and it's needed to try to select something or add a table to get the lines also when a table is dragged and drop from the Catalog window it is not displayed until another table is added and the new one is not displayed.

How to repeat:
Menu File->import->reverse engineer MySQL create Script
Select any sql file with at least 2 tables
Select add new EER diagram (work area is grey)
From the Catalog window, drag and drop a table (it's not displayed)
From the catalog window, drag and drop another different table (the first is displayed but the new one doesn't)

Thank you for the bug report. I wasn't able to repeat with my own sql file,
could you please provide your sql file to try with it?. Thanks in advance.

How to repeat(better use case):
Menu File->import->reverse engineer MySQL create Script
Select any sql file with at least 2 tables
Select add new EER diagram (work area is Ok)
From the Catalog window, drag and drop a table (it's displayed)
From Menu File, select new (do not save changes)

In the new Model (same window):
Menu File->import->reverse engineer MySQL create Script
Select any sql file with at least 2 tables
Select add new EER diagram (work area is grey)
From the Catalog window, drag and drop a table (it's not displayed)
From the catalog window, drag and drop another different table (the first is displayed but
the new one doesn't)

Let me know if you could reproduce, I'll upload my sql file if needed

I'm using mysql-workbench-oss-5.0.10-beta-win32-noinstall.zip unzipped in c:\program files\MySQL AB

This seems to be a duplicate of bug #32773, although I can't repeat neither.

Thank you for the report.

Verified as described with 1 change:

1. In the new Model (same window):
2. Menu File->import->reverse engineer MySQL create Script
3. Select any sql file with at least 2 tables (I used provided file)
4. Select add new EER diagram (work area is OK)
5. Select add new EER diagram (repeat step 4, but now work area is grey)
6. From the Catalog window, drag and drop a table (it's not displayed)
7. From the catalog window, drag and drop another different table (the first is displayed but the new one doesn't)

Bug #32773 was marked as duplicate of this one.

This seems to be caused by a bug in the software rendering code.
