Description:
After creating a layer I want to edit it. I right click and see:

- no "Edit" option, is there for tables why not for layer?
- "Edit it new window option" but this does not work. (no editor is opened)

How to repeat:
create a new layer, and try to edit it...

Suggested fix:
Please add "Edit"  option to context menu, and also make the "Edit in new window" item work.

Layer-Editor isn't yet published in actual builds. This feature will be correctly enabled when the editor is in place.

The dummy Edit in New Window option was removed but will be added back along with the normal Edit once the layer editor is added.
