Description:
When I stop the service using MySQL Administrator, the "Service Status" box does not reflect that the service has actually been stopped. The "Log Messages" window on the bottom of the screen confirms that the service has been stopped. The Windows service control panel also shows that the service has been stopped as well.

How to repeat:
Open MySQL Administrator (must be on localhost) and verify that MySQL Server service is running. Using the control located in Service Control -> Start/Stop Service, stop the service.

Notice that it does not change. Verify the service has been stopped by using windows service manager.

Suggested fix:
Make this control watch for service activity and update accordingly.

The database I am using is MySQL version 4.0.12.
