Description:
Previously Reported for winxp, but I'm submitting this for win2k as well.
both the msi and non-msi distros are missing the Microsoft (R) C Runtime Library, v. 7.00.9064.0 "MSVCR70.dll".
There are several other versions resident on my computer (from visual studio install?) but not this one.

How to repeat:
on first start after install, the app throws a missing dll error.

Suggested fix:
please obtain distro rights for MSVCR70.dll or switch to a more common (older) version of this dll
msvcrt20.dll and msvcrt40.dll seem to be in the original windows 2000 distribution but I cant be sure (i'm going by modification date), however I can say they are fairly common as several DB apps on my system use them. (2 copies of 20 and 3 copies of 40 on my box)

also note it seems that MS dropped the T from the file name msvcrt*.dll is now msvcr*.dll

also note copies of the dll are available on the web at the users own risk

followup... adding the msvcr70.dll fixed all relevent problems, and the app seems stable at this point (testing on a remote unix host, so obviously I'm unable to test "localhost" features, but so far so good.
nice job guys! :)

Hi,
Thanks. I have updated Bug #3178 - "Won't start and giving an error message" and also specified win2ksp4 as OS there. Please follow this bug-report if you want to stay informed. I will close this one as duplicate.
