Description:
The documentation for the current version of Connector/J is confusing.

Both the 5.0 and 5.1 download pages (http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/5.1.html and http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/5.0.html) say, "On this page are downloads of the current generally available (GA) release version. Online documentation for Connector/J can be found from here."

The information page (http://www.mysql.com/products/connector/j/) lists 5.0 as GA.

The versions page (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/connector-j-versions.html) says 5.1 is alpha.

How to repeat:
See above links

Suggested fix:
Clarify which version is GA, and what the proper status of 5.1 is.

The documentation has been updated to note that C/J 5.1 is now on general release, not alpha, status.
