Hi, to reproduce this, we need more informations: a) what exactly did you do to get this error message? b) please attach the sql syntax you used c) please attach the trace file You also use a very old MyODBC version. Please, try it with our newest versions: MyODBC 5.1 or MyODBC 3.51.21 and let us know, if the error occurs here too or if not. Susanne

ok first i opened crystal report file <example: invoice.rpt> In thar .rpt file there was a template for the report but the database used MS ACCESS, i want to change the ACCESS database with MySQL database then i did this step in crystal report: 1. choose database expert 2. choose "create a new connection" then choose ODBC(RDO) choose my datasource name and click next then i filled the user ID and Password

i have install a new version of Myodbc and that error not show anymore hehe. thx for the suggestion now i can finish my project. Thx a lot^^
