Description:
When I try to run the proxy on Windows XP, it fails immediately with the following error message:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022). Click on OK to terminate the application."

This is even when I try to do something like "mysql-proxy --version".

How to repeat:
Try to start the proxy on Windows XP with any of the following:

mysql-proxy
mysql-proxy --version
mysql-proxy --help-all

I can't repeat the behaviour on WinXP 64bit:

D:\mysql-proxy-0.6.0-win32-x86>mysql-proxy.exe --help
Usage:
  mysql-proxy.exe [OPTION...] - MySQL Proxy
...

It is working now and I cannot repeat the crashing problem I had before.

I am getting the same error on Windows Server 2003. This appears to be Windows Server 2003 specific. I tested on XP and it works.

The application failed to initialize properly

Just unpacked mysql-proxy-0.6.0-win32-x86 and tried to run.
Exactly this problem.
