This error happens when installing in unattended mode in a directory other than the default. The patchbackup directory isn't being properly updated inside the installer. You can work around this for now by explicitly setting it using the --backupdir comand line option We are working on getting you a fixed project XML as soon as possible.

reduced to S3/P3 as - a work around for unattended mode is present with specifying "--backupdir ..." in the command line - in text mode the problem does not occur
