Description:
Hi ,
I am currently developing a UI with a backend of MySQL.
Lately I have faced this issue.
I have provided the customer with a packaged installer and he went on to use it.As a user he did all kind of opeartions like select, inserts, updates and deletes on the database.
He then reported a bug to me,and I then resolved it and installed a new package on his machine.
But after the install the past data(data that the user had entered before the new install) is not being fetched by the queries.Ironically there is no broken code, and the user is happily able to add data and perform all operation that he was able to earlier.
The gist of it is that he is unable to view the data that was present before the install.
Another irony is that the entire process enlisted above works well on my development machine.I am able to see past data.
I not very sure what is causing this...I thought it was bug with the firewall turned on..But the issue seems to be not resolved even when i turn it off.
Also I am not doing a query that has a date field in the where clause.

Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks
Rupin

How to repeat:
I am not sure, because I am unable to replicate it.
