Description:
After uninstalling MySQL and restarting the computer windows still try to start the service.

How to repeat:
just uninstall MySQL and restart your computer. I used automatic.

Suggested fix:
please remove from registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\MySql

The un-install process currently doesn't remove the service,
is necessary to remove it before, using the mysqld-nt server
or any other server:

mysqld-nt --remove
or for a custom name service:
mysqld-nt --remove service_name

Mark, I assume this will be resolved with our new installer? Or is this
something that Greg should look into?

MySQL-4.1 uses new installer, the old one is obsolete now.
