The un-install process currently doesn't remove the service, is necessary to remove it before, using the mysqld-nt server or any other server: mysqld-nt --remove or for a custom name service: mysqld-nt --remove service_name

I am trying to install mysql ver 4.1, the installation goes fine but the service is not starting at the end of installation. ANy idea how to fix this. I need it urgent.

MySQL-4.1 uses new installer, the old one is obsolete now.
