Description:
Dears,

there is a replication [master to master] between two nodes by MySQL 5.0 on windows operating system, i noticed from times to times the replication is not working and i got this error message:

[ERROR] Slave I/O thread: error reconnecting to master 'replication@172...:3306': Error: 'Can't connect to MySQL server on '172....' (10061)' errno: 2003 retry-time: 60 retries: 86400

the solution for this issue to restart the service of MySQL on both node then it will work smoothly!!

so can you please advise how to solve this issue automatically without restart the service manually because it's for the online system and we need to control this case in better way.

Best Regards,
Ahmad Omar

How to repeat:
from time to time i notice this issue maybe for connection failure but i think when the connection up again between nodes, it should resum the replication between two nodes.

Suggested fix:
solve this issue automatically without restart the MySQL service manually
