Description:
Installation of the Service Manager includes many things in the Tomcat deployment that are not needed. Please:

1) Remove everything but our application from "webapps" (except the ROOT webapp)

2) Remove the "manager" and "host-manager" contexts

3) Remove all of the commented-out components from conf/server.xml

4) Remove conf/tomcat-users.xml

5) Remove conf/server-minimal.xml

6) Delete merlin.war after unpacking it (leaving it there can confuse Tomcat -- if/when it is restarted it sometimes redeploys the .war)

How to repeat:
Install the Merlin Service Manager and look in the apache-tomcat directory.
