Description:
Description: If you select the Server Logs item from either the view menu or the
list on the lefthand side, instead of opening the logs, the MySQL Administrator closes down immediately. The MySQL Server, version 4.0.18 keeps on running and MySQL Administrator can be restarted again with no problem just as if it had been exited normally. A similar bug (#2937) was reported and closed, only that bug was reported on a system running on Redhat 9 rather than Fedora Core 1.

How to repeat:
Select the Server Logs item from either the view menu or the list on the
lefthand side. The MySQL Administrator program will then exit.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments
to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Additional info:

The bug is probably the same as the other one which was fixed in the repository and closed.
