Description:
there doesn't seem to be any way to use the items in the connection
history to initiate a new connection. If there is a way, then the bug
is that it's not obvious.

How to repeat:
just look at the connection history window.

Suggested fix:
add a button or something.

Hi,

The dropdown box in the connection dialog shows only connections that were explicitly created by the user. I don't think it would be a good idea to mix these entries with hosts from the history list.
The reason that you cannot choose connections from the history list is that the history list is only intended as a basis for auto-completion. The idea is that you have to create the connection and adjust all connection settings yourself for each host that to plan to regularly connect to.
Maybe it is confusing to have both a history-list and a user-defined connection list, so we will just hide the history-list in the options-dialog.
