Description:
In VS2005 when you go to add a new data source using the Data Source Configuration Wizard the Add Connection box disappears right when you start typing a character in any of the boxes.

I am using:
Connector for .NET (5.1.1)
WinXP Pro Ver.2002 Service Pack 2
Visual Studio 2005 Pro Edition w/ Service Pack 1

While doing some searching on this problem I found that it was happening awhile ago (Oct 2006) when the Visual Studio Plug-In was separate from the .NET Connector (please see this link:
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=23071

How to repeat:
1. Open Data Sources box (next to Solution Explorer)
2. Click "Add New Data Source"
3. In the Data Source Configuration Wizard select "Database"
4. Click "Next"
5. Click "New Connection"
6. Click "Change"
7. Select the "MySQL Database" item
8. Click "Ok"
9. In the "Add Connection" Dialog that appears, typing or pasting any text in any text box will make the dialog close.

Suggested fix:
I don't have a clue.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Explanation: Hi Seth and thanks for your report. This is a duplicate of Bug#28741. As no one else is able to repeat this behavior, please contact Psy and cross check your configurations.
