Description:
The Instance Configuration Wizard stops in step 2 "Write configuration file" with error: ...\my-template.ini could not be processed ... Error code -1

All the files are there and there is a partial copy of my.ini, ending with

max_connections = 100

How to repeat:
Install 5.0.42 Enterprise for Windows/64 and chose detailed configuration.

Verified as described. my.ini is half written and ends at

 max_connections=100

Steps:

Use default settings of installer except:
"detailed config" -> "dedicated server" -> "MyISAM only" -> "10"

If I use

"detailed config" -> "Developer Machine" -> "MyISAM only" -> "10"

the installation works.
