Description:
The French web page headers and footers at www-fr.mysql.com appear to assume ISO 8859-1 character set, while the actual contents (the Russian MySQL manual) is in KOI8-R. Thus, the accented French characters are incorrectly displayed as cyrillic characters.

How to repeat:
Visit http://www-fr.mysql.com/doc/ru/

Suggested fix:
Use the UTF-8 encoding, or change the page headers and footers of non-latin1 content to use the same character set as the content, or a subset thereof (ASCII).

This is no longer a problem.

Thanks.
