Could not retrieve user list from server
MySQL Error Nr. 1044
Access denied for user: 'snort@slb163188049113.sugar-land.oilfield.slb.com' to database 'mysql'

Installed in Red Hat 9
Database is running on same computer.

How to repeat:
Select "User Administration"

Please try connecting using the root user. Perhaps the user you have attempted to connect with does not have enough privileges.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem.  Unfortunately
you are not using a current version of the product your reported a
problem with -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download
a new version from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions,
please change the version on this bug report to the version you
tested and change the status back to "Open".  Again, thank you for
your continued support of MySQL.
