Description:
I've use the windows server 2003 standard for may server OS. But when i install and run winmysqladmin.exe from MySQL 4.0.12 come with error :

Cannot read access xxxx from winmysqladmin.exe .....

i've trace by dos with mysqladmin.exe, it says that i've not been connected with localhost. But the computer are the localhost, can you explain what happen here, i have develope many database using MySQL and try to migrate into windows server 2003 for better access and security. Am i must uninstall windows server 2003 or remove my MySQL and try develope under database system else ???

I've promote MySQL because it can use in many platform, i have develope on Linux and i only can says MySQL are the Best, I hope you can explain about this bug on my windows server 2003...

When WinMySQLAdmin throws this message means that wasn't found the
TCP/IP support in the environment. This isn't first time that
behavior is reported for Win 2003 Server and the first user have
commented that was able for to run the tool only when simultaneously
had connected with the internet.

So my guess is that you have logged with user privileges without
the service of TCP/IP granted.

Please run the command:

netstat /a

and verify the TCP/IP stuff.
