I am using MySQL Server 5.0 through ODBC in MSAccess with very large recordsets. About once every ten minutes when I access the database the computer hangs completely - in taskmanager mysql-nt's cpu rating is 99% and nothing will function - It seems that the only way to beat this hang is to end the process.
