Description:
Exceptions occur after pinging for a database server.

AppName: mysqladministrator.exe
AppVer: 1.0.1.1
ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 01000ff1

How to repeat:
Assume a Connection is already defined
Upon startup, Connect to MySQL Server Instance dialog appears.

Choose a connection, enter a username, leave the password field BLANK.
Click OK.

Error dialog displays stating 'MySQL Error Nr.1045'
Access denied for user etc

Click Ping button, let a few packets pass then click OK
(DO NOT click Stop Pinging)

After about a second, the exception occurs. Often this exception continues to be thrown multiple times (last count was about 50 and counting).
