Description:
MySql Server: 5.0.27
MySql Client: 5.0.27
MySql administrator:  1.2.11

Linux 2.6.17-1.2174
Fedora Core 5

when select "user administration" in MySql Administrator, an error message popped up saying "could not retrieve user privilege information"

the connected user is root

other people have the same problem, please have a look at bug #13138

How to repeat:
MySql Server: 5.0.27
MySql Client: 5.0.27
MySql administrator:  1.2.11

I tried the package from mysql.com  mysql-gui-tools-5.0r11-fc5-i386

but run into another problem during the installation:

libjvm.so is needed by mysql-gui-tools-5.0r11-1fc5.i386
libjvm.so(SUNWprivate_1.1) is needed by mysql-gui-tools-5.0r11-1fc5.i386

Thank you for the feedback. Indeed I had the same issue with dependencies
on FC 6.0, however I installed them using yum. Please try the same. Thanks

Yes, I tried the yum. No problem with installation, 
however, same error message "could not retrieve user privilege information"
for "user administration" option in MySql Administrator
