Description:
Hello All,

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/linux-rpm.html
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/de/linux-rpm.html

Please change the section title to RPM-Linux or change in the text rpm against packages. Not all Linux systems could handle RPMs.

Kind Regards

Susanne

How to repeat:
It's a documentation issue

Thank you for a documentation request. AFAIK, we do not build/release officially any other packages for any Linux - only rpms, yet. But as one can find the following:

"The MySQL RPMs are currently built on a SuSE Linux 7.3 system..."

and the above in unlikely true, that documentation page should be revised anyway. So, I think, this is a valid documentation request.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been addressed in the documentation. The updated documentation will appear on our website shortly, and will be included in the next release of the relevant products.

I've updated the section in the English manual. The German section will be updated whenever translation next occurs.
