Just to be sure that it is not forgotten: If this is not a bug, then it should clearly be documented: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=27349

Suggested fix:
Write how a 4 node cluster should be set up (one section for each interconnect) and possibly [tcp] section at the end.
