Description:
Storing a connection password only works for a limited period of time.

How to repeat:
Create a connection, add the password and under "General Options" choose to store the password as plain text. I haven't been able to identify any specific event that triggers loss of the password but at some point within a few hours or perhaps the next day, the password disappears and needs to be re-entered when connecting. It no longer shows up in the password text box of a connection.

Suggested fix:
Retain the password.

Thank you for a bug report. Query browser is no longer supported on that platform, so this platform specific bug will not be fixed. Please try out MySQL Workbench, the designated successor of Query Browser. Workbench will again be supported on all platforms.
