Thank you for the report. I wasn't able to repeat described behaviour with current 1.2.10 MySQL Administrator. Please try current version and if you are still able to repeat reopen bug report.

I have the same problem, also with Concentric. Did you ever solve it? Software versions are: Host: MySQL 4.0.27 running on SunOS Client: MySQL Admin 4.1 or 5.1 running on WinXP I have verified that I can connect to the database using the mysql command on another remote SunOS box, but I cannot connect to the database using the mysql command-line interface from my local Windows box (where the command-line version generates the same error).

I am having the same issue (with concentric) with ver. 1.2.10. Has this issue been resolved or a solution posted? Thanks for the assistance.

Good grief. This is absurd! TWO YEARS and this issue still hasn't been resolved?!?!?!?! I just had exactly the same problem on Concentric with MySQL Administrator 1.2.17. Hello? Whats up there at MySQL?
