Description:
If I try to install mysql with the EI neither being root nor having root rights, then I get an empty log and "installation successful" though nothing was installed. The impression and informations told me that all seems to be all right. Very confusing. I expect to get an error like "you are nnot allowed to write into /usr" and "installtion failed".

How to repeat:
call "./installer" without having root rights.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Unfortunately, EI you had used is not supported any more (and was never released officially). So, it is unlikely that any bugs in it will be fixed any time soon.
