Description:
After I logon when I click in User administration I get the following error:
"Could not retrieve user privilege information"
I see that other cases like this were requested recently and it is said to be a duplicate. But the original case offers no resolution. I've installed the most recent version of MySQL administrator version: 5.0r9 and I still get the same problem. I tried the update command specified in the documentation but still I get the same error.
Let me know how to fix this error or to do a workaround.

How to repeat:
Just logging on and clicking on User administration causes the error

Thank you for the bug report. I was not able to repeat the behavior
reported on Fedora Core 6 (I attached a picture showing that).

Hi,
Sorry I have been studying and getting to know Fedora for work. I have been doing alot of tests. And I changed the password to the root account for MySQL at some point. After more then a week of not touching it I came back to it but I didn't note down the password for the MySQL root account. So I forgot that I changed it. After a while now I found the password and it changes again. But it seems that uninstalling MySQL doesn't clear the password for the MySQL root account. Anyways, PEBKAC (Problem exists between keyboard and chair.
Thanks for the support. Sorry for wasting your time. This can be closed.
