Description:
I often find myself typing "ls" as soon as I start up the mysql command line client. Obviously that doesn't work, but I think it would make sense to have it act as "SHOW DATABASES" when no database has been selected yet, and "SHOW TABLES" if a database has been selected already. Saves typing and I presume I am not the only one making this "mistake".

How to repeat:
No bug, it's a feature request...

I would also like to see this feature. I really hate typing and 'show databases;' is a much longer sentence than just 'ls;' would be. Ty in adv for considering.
