How to repeat:
Prerequiste

Have database with a table you can use to perform updates.

----

Start QB

Select database table you want to do some updates.
Execute an update that will succeed like in screen shot s1.
 
After successful update you will see the at the very bottom 
see screen shot s2
the message 'Query returned no result set' which should 
read in this case something like, 'Number of affected rows=1'

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Query Browser into MySQL Workbench. We won't add this feature request anymore.
