Description:
Four servers:
server1 and server2 are set up as bidirectional master-slaves.
server3 and server4 are slaves of server1.

When server3 slave starts, show processlist displays the wrong hostname (it shows server2 hostname but with the correct port number for server3).  Same occurs if server3 is shutdown and server3 client program is used against server1.

When client program on server3 is used against server2 or server4, the correct hostname is displayed in show processlist.

Thank you for a problem report. Please, try to repeat with a newer version, 4.1.22, and inform about the results.

Looks like you are affected by one old bug, fixed in 4.1.18...
