Description:
Both MySQL and MyODBC need to be compiled with -Ae.  Currently MySQL is not compiled with this Option.  I found while making Binaries for HP that both need this option

How to repeat:
Do not use option

Suggested fix:
Add this option and rebuild MySQL and MyODBC

-Ae (extended ANSI mode) is the default for versions 10.30 and forward.
