Description:
In the table editor, "Table" tab, you can choose the "Collation".

I would like to be able to choose only the character set, not the collation. It should be possible to leave the collation blank (let the deployment platform decide)

Also, the description for the collation, "The collation specifies which language specific characters can be stored in the table [...]", is wrong. The character set determines that, the collation just specifies the default sorting.

How to repeat:
Open workbench, create a new table, look at the "Table" tab.

Suggested fix:
1) Please add option to select character set (allow for blank, i.e. let deployment platform decide)
2) Please allow to choose a blank collation (i.e. let deployment platform decide)
3) fix the description for collation, explaining that it specifies the collation - not the character set.
