sapdbenv.sh has a typo:
on line 8 and 15 the variable $IND is used instead of $INDEP
Due too this error the PATH is not set correctly

How to repeat:
source sapdbenv.sh

Suggested fix:
change IND to INDEP

The bug has been corrected in The script sapdbenv.sh has been removed and a new script of the name maxdbenv.sh has been added. A .19 installations contains the corrected version.

However, you can still find the old script in the CVS.
