Description:
I would love to see a pocket PC embedded version of mysql. We're currently working on a design for a product in .net that will run on the web, pc and pda. I'd like to keep with mysql for all of these platforms and not to have to convert data between the mysql and the microsoft embedded sql product.

How to repeat:
n/a

Suggested fix:
support pocket pc embedded version.

Thank you for a reasonable feature request.

Since MySQL is open source you should try to build the embedded server
4.1 with the minimal resources i.e: just with MyISAM engine.

I'll have a look, but it's not something I've done before, so I'm not sure how to do this.

Looks like Pocket PC / Windows CE / Windows Mobile is discontinued by Microsoft.

Closing (again), as Pocket PC is dead.
