the md5 checksum of the downloaded file is the same as stated in the download htm page and is hence correct (f9ef86d6065bf5c43f34c1292e9a001a). The files containing such illegal java "code" :) are:
com\sap\dbtech\jdbc\translators\NumericTranslator.java
com\sap\dbtech\jdbc\translators\ShortNumericTranslator.java
com\sap\dbtech\jdbc\translators\SpaceoptionStringTranslator.java
com\sap\dbtech\jdbc\translators\SpaceoptionUnicodeStringTranslator.java

How to repeat:
Download and unzip the file with WinZip...?

Suggested fix:
rezip the sources...?

The offending files are not included in the 7.5.01.00 sapdbc.jar.

The latest download seems to contain all sources.
