Hi guys,

I can see mysql is really booming up, if we have some more features, which other database dont give, it would be really gr8. Something like, if exists, as we have while creating table, we can use "IF NOT EXITS", can we have similar functionality while altering the TABLE ..can we know if a particular column exits or not ?

Anyhow, mysql is the best

Bug #3706 is actually a duplicate of this one but goes a bit more into detail,
