Description:
Hi, 

When I try to run TableEditor example from NET connector 1.0.8 RC example, it fails to connect.

Am using Vista though, thought this is serious enoough to report before 1.0.8 is released.

 

How to repeat:
with a Vista box that has VS2005 installed...

1. Open TableEditor.proj
2. Run
3. Program fails with connection error..

EX.SOURCE         = MySql.Data
EX.MESSAGE        = Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts
EX.INNEREXCEPTION = An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used

This bug does not exist on WinXP, you may want to mark as 'Unsupported'.

I would like to flag bug as critical since I will need this fixed before deploying 1.0.8, and you may not offer 1.0.7 as seperate download.

Jared, that's fine by me. Legal copy of Vista will not be available to me for next few weeks at least so I'll leave this report in "Open" state...

Same problem as bug #23758 which has already been fixed.  The fix will appear in 1.0.9
