On the GUI installer, it says: (see screenshot)

MySQL Root Role Username

Please pick the username for the root role

Root role username:  root
-----------------------------------

Actually, this not the "MySQL root role"; this is the "Administrator role". And it's not for MySQL, it's for Merlin.

Suggested fix:
We've been criticized for using "root" as a default, so let's make the change too (as indicated below):

Change from: MySQL Root Role Username
Change to: Administrator Username

Change from: Please pick the username for the root role
Change to: Please pick the username for the Administator role

Change from: Root role username:  root
Change to: Administrator role username:  admin
