Description:
Major features of Mysql Administrator aren't available for a remote server.
There's always a red error message on the top of the window :
"This section is only available when connected to localhost"

How to repeat:
Try to use the section, "Service Control" => all the entries are greyed and the error message is showed.
Try to use the section, "Startup Variables" => the error message is showed and an advert shows instead of the desired datas
Try to use the tab "Multi-instance Monitoring" in the "Health" section => no error message, but another advert shows instead of the desired datas
Try to use the section, "Server Logs" => in all the tabs, the entries are greyed and the error message is showed.

Suggested fix:
This sections should be available even when not connected to localhost

Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/ and the instructions on
how to report a bug at http://bugs.mysql.com/how-to-report.php

If you want you can change Severity to "Feature request", but look attention you ask about control not of MySQL server itself, but remote filesystem and operation system.
