Description:
Once MySQL 7.0 is installed, when a user logs in the machine and then try to log off or restart or shutdown, the machine does not respond until MYSQL is shutdown

How to repeat:
Install MYSQL 7.0 on a Windows XP Professional machine, log on a user and then try to log it off.

Sorry we don't have version 7.0. Could you please specific the
correct version: 3.23.XX, 4.0.XX, 4.1.XX or 5.0.

We do not have a version 7.0...  Which version do you mean?

Assuming you are in fact using MySQL, is mysqld installed as a service?
