Description:
gnubee issue, I'm sure...

I'm thrilled by the promise of these tools, but so far unable to try them.

(I'm frankly too intimidated by lack of familiarity with these tools, and this community, to claim that what I'm experiencing is a "bug", but it sure is stopping me from proceeding.)

Upon running "MySQL.VisualStudio.msi", the installation appears to run almost all the way, and at the last moment a pop-up dialog appears which says:

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.
A program required for this install to complete could not
be run. Contact your support personnel or package
	vendor.
	                          OK

The installation aborts, and no clue is given as to what file or package might be missing. I have tried to follow the instructions most carefully. The MD5 value verifies, so my download of the zip file is ok.

Thanx for any help you can offer. I apologize a priori if this is incredibly and undeniably naive.
Mike

How to repeat:
Download the beta. Unzip it. Run the .msi file. Witness the problem. What more can I say?

Hi Mike.
Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Explanation: This is the duplicate of BUG#23162. If you have anything to add, please do it there and reopen the report.

Hi Mike.
I am sorry to inform you that the plugin only works with VS standard or pro. It
will not work with any Express editions and that is a limitation of the VS
product, not our plugin. We will add note about this where appropriate.
