I installed today mysql-gui-tools-5.0r12 I have the exact same problem, so I guess the bug should change to open again. I've looked for passing options to java like java -Xms32m -Xmx128m but coouldn't find the right place for it. Is it harcoded in grtsh? thanx Giannis

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL GUI Tools into MySQL Workbench. We won't fix this anymore in the old tools. More informations about MySQL Workbench you will find here: http://dev.mysql.com/workbench/
