Description:
This applies to all gui tools not just administrator.

The "Installing from Source" appendix says gtkmm 2.0 or 2.2 is required. (p. 66 of pdf manual of Administrator). Installation requires gtkmm24.
Are the other libraries reference in the appendix out of date too?

How to repeat:
Go to p. 66 of administrator pdf manual.

Suggested fix:
Update library references?

Hi Peter

gtkmm, gtk and libglade now need newer versions. 2.4, 2.6 and 2.5 respectively.
I've put up a quick building summary on http://forge.mysql.com/wiki/Building_MySQL_GUI_Tools_on_Linux
which has more details and I try to keep up-to-date.
