Fresh install of rc3 on laptop with localized WinXP Pro SP2 (Croatian) was giving AV trying to connect to MySQL server 5.0BK on remote WinXP Pro SP2 host. I (just) copied older Administrator version onto laptop, made first connection and deleted old version. Everything started to work... Laptop has bit-defender firewall. I tested with and without it, same error on connect. Firewall makes no difference. - client: HP laptop, fresh install servers: (Win-localhost) 4.1.3, (Win) 4.1.22BK and 5.0.24BK, (Suse) 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1 BK - all latest versions hosts: WinXP Pro SP2, Suse 10.0 - client: WinXP Pro SP2, older versions of GUI tools exists servers: (Win-localhost) 4.1.22BK and 5.0.24BK, (Suse) 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1 BK - all latest versions, (Win) 4.1.3 hosts: WinXP Pro SP2, Suse 10.0 So I had minor troubles connecting from localized WinXP client which went away for reason unknown to me...
