Description:
There are various warnings when compiling MySQL which should be investigated and fixed (or documented if they're OK).

Several environments should be checked:

- Windows
- Windows 64-bit
- gcc 4.x

How to repeat:
Compile MySQL in various environments.

We have had two crashes that consistently reproduce when MySQL 5.1.11-beta is compiled with gcc 4.1. The crashes do not occur when compiled with gcc 3.4.5. Unfortunately, I do not have a reproduction case.

What's happening with this? Has there been any effort to resolve these warnings?

It seems that the gcc 4.1 warnings have been repaired. If you believe otherwise, please show some examples. Thanks!
