Description:
when in edit table mode, we currently only have the ability to insert a new row(column) in between exiting rows(columns). This means that if we desire to add a new row(column) to the end of the list, we currently need to insert into the second to last row, delete the last row(with the newly created row now being the last) and reinsert the previous last row in front of the new one.

How to repeat:
Try to create new row(column) positioned as the last row(column).

Suggested fix:
It is desireable to be able to either append a new row to a table or have the ability to reposition rows(columns) within the table would be even better.

For what it's worth, you can ctrl-click the column and drag it to reposition it.

Thanks. This does work although it seems like a shortcut method for achieving this. I still think that it would be more intuitive to have a button or buttons that would allow you to do this within the GUI.

I can't seem to get the Ctrl-Click to move columns (or rows for that matter) in the Query Window. What am I missing?

This was referring to editing the table to change column order in the table itself, not the display of output in the query window. Query window results (apparently) do not have the hook for this.

Thank you for your interest in the MySQL graphical administration tools.
We recommend that you use our MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query
Browser. The MySQLGUI and MySQL Command Center legacy products are
deprecated, and we are no longer maintaining those projects.
