Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at http://www.mysql.com/documentation/ and the instructions on how to report a bug at http://bugs.mysql.com/how-to-report.php Additional info: This is documented here: http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/CHAR.html I do not see IIF listed in our function list. Typo or referencing another RDBMS' function?

Description: 1) We are developing one small application in Struts with MySql, i specified the length of the field 5, but when i try to insert a record it is accepting more then 5 integers, char, varchars. It has to be control. Once open in the MySqlCC i am able to see the whole number, once if i click on the grid it is changing according to the field size, Eg: field length 5 Record val = 3434532345 If click on mysqlcc grid it will change to 34345 2) I am not able to write a IIF condition query. How to repeat: send me a mail mouli@qic-software.com Suggested fix: try to solve in next release
