Description:
If you install to a path that has parenthesis, for example
C:\Program Files (x64)\MySQL\Network, at the end of the install you get the error - "Error parsing C:\Program Files (x64)\MySQL\Network\php\php.ini on line 749".

FYI line 749 is the last one here:
; Default socket name for local MySQL connects. If empty, uses the built-in
; MySQL defaults.
mysql.default_socket = C:/Program Files (x64)/MySQL/Network/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock

Note that this came from a beta tester who has 64 bit Windows, and has installed all his programs to "Program Files (x64)". I tested it on 32bit WinXP and got the same results.

How to repeat:
see above

I *think* this has been corrected with Bitrock builds > 6.19, but I'm not positive. Test needed.

Reported as resolved by Bitrock in versions >= 7.9

The particular error parsing the PHP file has been fixed in build 7.10, however the service created for the Merlin DB does not pickup the parenthesis.

Response from Bitrock-
"We are trying to track down the problem, it would help us considerably to have more details about it, i.e.: do you get any kind of error message?
I had a look in your bugtracking system, but the info we have access to is basically the same, just the comment I quoted above from your QA team."

Reported as resolved by Nitrock in builds =>7.14

Verified fixed in build 7.14.
